For many years, our family has participated in the Ride for Roswell with my father, a cancer survivor who is living proof of the great work done at the Roswell Cancer Institute.
This year is different. The ride was canceled due to Covid-19, but the importance of the work done at Roswell has not gone away. Even though we're not able to participate in the ride, we still need to fund-raise to support Roswell.
The "Maryland Herbergers" were also planning on participating in a triathlon this past spring. Again, the event was canceled due to Covid-19, so we've decided to combine the two events. Result - TRI for ROSWELL!

Here's our plan:
  • 1/4 mile swim in our neighborhood pool
  • 14 mile bike on the Capitol Crescent trail.
  • 3 mile run on Little Falls Parkway (closed to cars on weekends)

We've selected Saturday, August 1 for our triathlon, and we'll be starting the swim at 12:00 pm.

Please consider donating on any of our pages to help support cancer research and patient care at Roswell.
